The dietary nutritional product OLIMP L-CARNITINE PLUS in the form of tablets is a nutritional formula containing L-carnitine ensuring the appropriate supplementation of the endogenous level of this substance in the body, intended for persons with increased energy requirements (e.g. high-performance athletes). The formula is additionally supplemented with amino acids L-ornithine and L-arginine and with chromium. The product contains also natural fruit powders, sorbitol, and fructose. L-carnitine is a substance of amino acid origin which is an important link in energy metabolism processes of the body. Forming complexes with fatty acids, introduces them into mitochondria, playing a fundamental role in the transport of dietary and their ultimate use for energy producing purposes. Maintenance of a favourably high level of L-carnitine in the body increases the participation of fats in energy producing processes, saving other substrates, mainly glycogen and amino acids. It enhances muscle ability to longer and more effective work, increasing physical fitness and resistance to fatigue.
